Account & Registration

Complete Business Verification

Required

Provide valid business registration documents, tax identification numbers, and proof of address. Verification typically takes 2-3 business days.

Accurate Business Information

Required

Ensure all business details including name, address, contact information, and banking details are accurate and up-to-date.

Profile Completeness

Recommended

Add a professional store logo, banner, description, and business hours. Complete profiles receive 40% more visibility.

Single Account Policy

Prohibited

Operating multiple vendor accounts without prior approval is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.

Product Listings

Accurate Product Information

Required

Provide truthful descriptions, specifications, and pricing. Misleading information violates our policy and can result in listing removal.

High-Quality Images

Recommended

Upload clear, well-lit product images (minimum 1000x1000px). Include multiple angles and lifestyle shots. Products with 5+ images sell 60% better.

Proper Categorization

Required

Place products in the correct category and subcategory. Miscategorization affects search visibility and customer trust.

Prohibited Items

Prohibited

Do not list counterfeit goods, illegal items, weapons, drugs, or products violating intellectual property rights.

Stock Management

Required

Keep inventory levels accurate. Out-of-stock items should be marked as unavailable within 24 hours.

Competitive Pricing

Recommended

Research market rates and price competitively. Excessive pricing or price manipulation is not allowed.

Order Fulfillment

Processing Time

Required

Orders must be processed within 24-48 hours. Set realistic processing times and adhere to them to maintain good ratings.

Shipping & Delivery

Required

Ship orders within the promised timeframe. Provide tracking information within 24 hours of shipment. Late deliveries affect your performance score.

Order Packaging

Recommended

Pack items securely using appropriate materials. Include invoice and care instructions. Branded packaging enhances customer experience.

Order Cancellation

Prohibited

Cancellations should be rare and justified. Frequent cancellations (>5%) negatively impact your seller rating and may result in penalties.

Communication

Respond to customer messages within 12 hours. Proactive communication about delays or issues prevents negative reviews.

Customer Service

Reply to customer inquiries within 12 hours. Maintain a response rate above 90% for optimal visibility in search results.

Professional Communication

Be courteous, professional, and helpful. Rude or abusive behavior towards customers results in immediate account review.

Returns & Refunds

Process return requests within 48 hours. Issue refunds within 5-7 business days of receiving returned items. Clear return policies build trust.

Work with customers to resolve issues amicably before they escalate. Our support team assists with mediation when needed.

Review Manipulation

Do not offer incentives for positive reviews, post fake reviews, or pressure customers. This violates our integrity policy.

Financial & Payments

Commission Structure

BeDonkey charges 8-15% commission per sale depending on category. Review the fee structure before listing products.

Payment Schedule

Required

Payments are processed bi-weekly after order completion and the return window expires (typically 14 days after delivery).

Tax Compliance

Required

Vendors are responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes. Ensure tax settings are configured correctly.

Pricing Transparency

Required

Display final prices including all fees. Hidden charges or surprise costs at checkout are prohibited.

Promotional Pricing

Recommended

Participate in platform-wide sales events. Competitive discounts during promotional periods increase visibility by up to 300%.

Performance Metrics

Order Defect Rate

Required

Maintain below 1% (includes cancellations, negative feedback, claims). Higher rates trigger account warnings.

On-Time Delivery

Required

Achieve 95%+ on-time delivery rate. This is a key factor in search ranking and featured placement eligibility.

Customer Satisfaction

Required

Maintain minimum 4.0-star rating. Ratings below 3.5 for 30 days result in account review and potential suspension.

Response Rate

Required

Keep message response rate above 90% and respond within 12 hours. This builds trust and improves customer experience.

Policies & Compliance

Intellectual Property

Prohibited

Only sell products you have rights to sell. Counterfeit or infringing items result in immediate removal and potential legal action.

Data Privacy

Required

Protect customer data. Never share, sell, or misuse customer information. Comply with GDPR and data protection regulations.

Fair Competition

Prohibited

Compete fairly. Price manipulation, fake reviews, sabotaging competitors, or gaming the system is prohibited.

Content Guidelines

Required

Product listings must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content. Keep descriptions family-friendly.

Violations & Consequences

First Violation: Warning and 7-day review period with restricted listing capabilities.

Second Violation: 30-day account suspension and mandatory compliance training.

Third Violation or Severe Breach: Permanent account termination with forfeiture of pending payments.

BeDonkey reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately for severe violations including fraud, counterfeit goods, or illegal activities.
